Enochian Symbolic Writing

    This table shows three variations of the enochian letters. The first column shows the newest, corrected version by John Dee. The second column shows this version in Dees handwriting and the third column shows the earliest version of the enochian letters. There exists no translation for the enochian names.

    The Lore of Correspondences and Analogies is a vital part of practical angel-magic. Only little is known about the correspondences of the enochian symbolic writing. Dr. Rudd is the only resource at all that combines the sixteen geomantic characters with the enochian symbols and angels. Five of these symbols do not have any correspondence to a geomantic character. Besides these you see the correspondences to the twelve angels of the zodiacal signs (the column zodiacal angel), the geomantic character in the column geomancy and the intelligences and daemons of the planetary spheres. The gematrical value is different in the various lines of thought. Here I am listing all of them - in my practice I treat them all as equal correct. The first one is based on the hebrew/greece system, the second one is based on the geomantic system. Aleister Crowley developed an own variation, which was also adopted by Gerald Schueler. A fourth variation is being utilized in the Aurum Solis Lodge. In this table AS stands for Aurum Solis, GD I for the first GD-variation and GD II for the second one, AC stands for Aleister Crowley, of course. Correspondences to the zodiacal-signs and the tarot-trumps were developed by the Golden Dawn. These are modern and not handed-down.
